Mobile Phones are banned in Years 7 - 11

Last year in London one mobile phone was stolen every six minutes – in total 91,000 phones were reported stolen. 4,618 of these phones were stolen in Hackney, some from children. This is one of many ways we are protecting your child by not letting them bring a mobile phone to school. We are also protecting their privacy, preventing cyber bullying and given them a chance to learn undisturbed by social media. Please check each day that your child is not bringing their phone to school, which will be confiscated from them if found. Thanks for your support. The Governing Body of The Urswick School.
