E-Safety

At The Urswick School we work hard to meet all aspects of our duty of care for our students. As the internet becomes an integral part of ours and our childrens' lives, we also provide the necessary guidance and support in e-safety.

Although the internet offers many positive opportunities, it is vitally important to know how to safely and appropriately use this technology. With children starting to use computers from a very early age, parents also need to be aware of issues around safe internet use and the precautions that they need to take.

This guide is aimed to equip our parents and our students with the tools required to stay safe online. If you have any questions about e-safety, please contact our E-Safety Coordinator by completing an online enquiry form (select 'E-Safety Enquiry' from the drop-down list).

In order to ensure your child is safe online please familiarise yourself with the schools Social Media policy.
