From the first whistle, it was clear that both teams were eager to compete and give it their all. The first half was a testament to Urswick’s teamwork and determination, conceding minimal chances to the opposition through our resilient and compact defending, with Kolade coming to the rescue and producing some crucial saves to keep us in the game. After the restart, Urswick applied pressure creating chances left, right and centre and were unfortunate to see a fantastic team goal finished off by Eesa to be ruled out only by the offside flag. Although the result achieved was not ideal, the players showed remarkable amounts of effort, maintaining their poise and positive mindset throughout the match.
