Our Curriculum

Students at The Urswick School are taught in a variety of mixed ability and set groups. Students are placed in one of Family Learning Groups in Year 7. Class sizes will not usually be above 25.

The School day is divided into lessons of one or occasionally two hours,  plus time for registration, assembly and an extensive Out of Hours Learning Programme.

Across key stages, our curriculum design is driven by the intention that students experience a broad, balanced and innovative curriculum designed to ensure students:
