Service of Thanksgiving

We were thrilled to be invited to represent the School at a Service of Thanksgiving in the 30^th year of South Africa’s democracy held at Westminster Abbey on 16^th July 2024.

Members of the TUS South Africa exchange 2023-2024 attended with Ms Braggins and Ms Quinn. The service was introduced by the Very Revered Dr David Hoyle, Dean of Westminster and addressed by the Rt Hon Lord Boateng. Some of the beautiful singing was lead by Innocent Masuku, finalist on Britain’s Got Talent 2024. Faith leaders from all the major world religions offered words of blessing for South Africa and its peoples, with the final blessing offed by Dame Sarah Mullaly, the Bishop of London. The Urswick was lucky to be the vey first School visited by Dame Sarah on her appointment as Bishop.
