Our annual Tea with the Head event took place on Friday 12th July with a vibrant seaside theme, transforming our Urswick Playground into a lively beachside paradise! Over 200 learners from Years 7 and 8 were Invited to the event after earning over 120 credits throughout the year. Credits can be given for excellent effort, high quality work and behaviour and contributing positively to The Urswick community.

The event was a kaleidoscope of fun activities and entertainment. An ice cream van served us delicious treats and students eagerly tried to hook-a-duck! The surf simulator was a big hit, offering students a chance to ride the waves and showcase their balance and agility. In addition to the thrilling activities, the event also highlighted the incredible work our students have produced throughout the year. Students wrote lovely postcards thanking members of staff who have taught them this year and proudly showed off their excellent work to members of staff, including Mr Brown. It was a testament to the hard work and creativity that flourishes within our school community.

To top it all off, we were delighted to host a magician who left everyone in awe with his mind-boggling tricks and illusions! His performances added an extra layer of magic to the already enchanting afternoon.

The event was a memorable occasion for all!
