Sports Day 2024

Warm weather blessed out Sports Day for year 8, 9 and 12 which took place at Lee Valley Stadium on 19th June. We started the day with a mass warm up routine which every student and some staff took part in.

We then combined traditional athletics events like 100m races, the 800 meters, long jump and high jump with welly throwing and tug-of-war. 

There was even time for a student/staff relay competition and photographs were taken in our outdoor Instagram Photo Zone. 

Everyone really enjoyed the day which was brilliantly led by Ms Blacksley and the PE department. 

Mr Brown presented trophies to the sports stars of the day, Indiya (Year 9) and Dezjarn (Year 8).

The Family Learning Groups who scored the most points were 12NHA, 9AUR and 8GRB. The winner of Sports Day 2024 were 8GRB with 252 points. The entire class and Ms Grech came onto the track to receive their trophy. 

Congratulations to the entire school who demonstrated excellent sporting behaviour.
