Ready, Set, Go! Sports Day 2023

The sun shone on the TUS Sports Day at Lee Valley Stadium. Years 8, 9 and 12 took part in a range of competitions including athletics events like sprint races, long jump and high jump, together with a tug-of-war and welly throwing. Everyone could earn points for their Family Learning Group.

A new feature was a mass ‘warm up’ at the start of the day which saw students and staff stretch those muscles in preparation for the day ahead.

Face painting and a packed lunch added to the fun. The eventual winners were: 12NHA, 9LIS and 8ALK. There was much excitement as the overall winners of Sports Day 2023 were announced – 8ALK. The best athlete prizes also went to two members of Year 8, Binyamin and Indiya.

Thanks to Ms. Blacksley (Head of PE), the rest of the PE department and the staff who helped make this a great day.
