Open Evening 2022

Urswick opened its doors to children in Year 5 and 6 at primary schools and their parents on Tuesday 4^th October. In addition to the Executive Headteacher’s address, visitors were able to look round lessons and speak to staff.

Amongst the events on show were a dramatised playscript reading of ‘An Inspector Calls’, experiments in Science, a demonstration of GCSE trampolining, and, the chance to have your fingerprints taken by Sixth Form Criminology students. All of our excellent facilities in our award-winning building were on display.

Amongst the comments from parents were:

‘I have always loved this school because my two older children attended and turned out really well’.
